Since 2011, the London Photo Festival has exhibited the works of thousands of photographers. Now, the 10th festival is almost here. Visit the free event for three days full of stunning travel photography from around the globe. Taking place in the Crypt under St George the Martyr Church, the exhibitions are open to the public from 10:30am this morning to 20th of May.
Your Travels
This year marks the 10th London Photo Festival and the theme is ‘your travels’. Visitors to the festival can see thousands of beautiful images from deserts to ice caves and cities to oceans. You can meet the photographers behind these striking shots at the festival’s Click ‘n Clique™ on Friday evening. This is a great opportunity for photographers to meet and mingle with others in the industry as well as a select group of photography suppliers.
A collection of mounted and unmounted Loxley Colour prints will be displayed in the festival’s exhibition with each image entered into a competition voted for by the public.
A platform for new photographers
The festival is free for visitors and all the exhibited images are for sale, so if you see a photograph and fall in love with it, it can be yours.
Founders Emma Mapp and Kit Shah are excited to see what this year’s festival will bring: “We created the London Photo Festival in 2011 to showcase up and coming talent and to provide new and emerging photographers with an opportunity to exhibit their work, have it professionally appraised and sell their work to the public… we hope to grow and promote photographers from around the globe.”
