The Newborn Photography Show has a new exciting opportunity for you. They’re hosting their a print competition at the show, giving you the chance to show off your maternity, newborn or children photography at one of the UK’s biggest newborn photography shows, and we have everything you’ll need to impress the judges from our wide range of prints.
Here’s how you enter
You’ll have to be quick though, to qualify you need to send your 12×10″prints to The Newborn Photography Show team by Saturday 5th of May. You’re advised to submit a mounted print to prevent curling. Make sure your print is un-watermarked and, if it is a Matted Print, please make sure the image has a length of eight inches.
The five judges in this competition are: Kelly Brown, Jocelyn Conway, Clare Louise, David Stanbury and Gary Hughes, all renowned and influential photographers in the industry. You’ll receive feedback from these photographers about your submitted image and the category winners will each receive a trophy.
There are five categories you can enter…
Newcomers:
To be considered for this category, you must have been in business for less than two years. You won’t be eligible if you have a photography qualification from a university or other organisation and you can’t have entered a photography competition before. This category is open to all genres of photography.
Newborn:
Subjects must be up to eight weeks old. Siblings and parents can be included as long as the newborn remains the focus of the image.
Children:
Photography of kids from eight weeks to 16 years old are included in this category. Images may include parents, providing the child is the main focus of the image.
Maternity:
Images may include other children or the partner.
Open:
As long as it doesn’t apply to any other category – anything goes!
