Throughout April, May and June, you’ll have the chance to see fascinating and iconic shots with an exhibition of renowned music photographer Mark Allan’s work. ‘It’s NOT Only Rock ‘n’ Roll’ will be in the Barbican Library in London, where you can see stunning images of everyone from Amy Winehouse to David Bowie.
The biggest stars on display
Working in the entertainment industry for over three decades, Mark has captured some fantastic shots of the world’s biggest musicians. This free exhibition puts Mark’s lifelong passion for music photography up on display for everyone to see.

“It’s amazing to be offered the opportunity to present a series of images encapsulating my career, I’m grateful to the City of London who fund the Barbican Music Library, which is fast becoming a space to display the best in music photography.”
A regular at music venues, Mark has captured some truly iconic shots from the stage as well as stunning unique images of music’s biggest stars. With images of Jay-Z, Freddie Mercury and George Michael, this is a huge exhibition of Mark’s work.
