We’re delighted to have partnered with Professional Photo magazine and Fujifilm for our first ever Wedding Photographer of the Year competition. This competition is all about the big day and the unique and creative ways you capture it. It also just so happens to be the perfect chance to give you a high profile showcase of your work and the chance to spread the word far and wide.
The six rounds cover different categories. All winning entries will be on display on our stand at The Photography Show in March, where one talented photographer will be crowned our Wedding Photographer of the Year.
We’re delighted to announce the first winner of this competition…
And the winner is…
Huge congratulations to Staffordshire-based wedding photographer Andrew Billington, the first winner in the Professional Photo Wedding Photographer of the Year competition!
He’s the deserved winner of the Off the Cuff round with this wonderfully unscripted moment:
The moment the bride’s veil flutters away in the breeze would have no doubt caused a bit of panic, but we’re sure the wedding party will look back and cherish this as a fond memory of a beautiful day, expertly captured by their photographer.
What Andrew has won
As winner of round one, Andrew can now choose a 30-page 14×12″ Bellissimo album from our award-winning collection and will be in the running to win £1,000 lab credit as the overall winner.
You can see Andrew’s image on our stand at The Photography Show in March.
Stay tuned for the next winner
The winning photographer of round two will be announced on Thursday 8th November. Keep up-to-date with the Loxley Colour blog to discover who bagged the Location, Location, Location prize.
