Wedding Photographer of the Year: Round Four – Winner Announced!

Wedding photographer of the year: Storyteller

Round four of the Wedding Photographer of the Year competition was about the stories images can tell. We asked for the best reportage wedding shots and received dozens of fascinating entries.

The judges have made their decision and it’s time to announce the winner of the Storyteller round…

And the winner is…

Natalie Martin of Story of Love Wedding Photography captured this emotional shot, clinching the fourth prize in this competition.

This moment was perfectly captured, showing a heartfelt exchange between the bride and her grandparents:

Judges were intrigued by this image and believed it perfectly suited the Storyteller category because it evoked a need to find out more. They wanted to know the story behind the emotional moment.

You can see Natalie’s image on our stand at The Photography Show in March, printed on Fujifilm original paper.

Natalie’s prize

As the winner of the fourth round, Natalie wins a 14×10″ 30-page spread Bellissimo album of her choice. She will also be a contender for the overall Wedding Photographer of the Year title, winning £1,000 lab credit.
